While serving as a Global Webmaster at Dell Computer Meredith was in charge of establishing a global architecture for the human resources intranet, hiring webmasters to manage information for the 23 countries involved and developing a long-term information strategy. Meredith's team was known for pioneering self service web applications, personalization and knowledge management. He received the Intranet Award of Excellence for Best in Class Design and Usability in 1999.
