Meredith Beal Speaks at the 3rd World Parliament On Spirituality — Africa

Six Continents -- The World Parliament on Spirituality, a celebration taking place on each continent except for Antarctica, gathered more than 1,000 spiritual leaders from over 200 countries. The week-long, virtual event, held in December 2020, is the third global gathering of people around the world embracing the vast diversity of spiritual and religious traditions and practices exploring how we can better live together in harmony and respect. Meredith Beal spoke on Day 1 in the Africa segment and participated on several panels. His topic was "Soft Power and Interfaith Harmony, a discussion about the transition from hard power to soft power and the human character development that must take place for that to happen. He also shared a musical performance during the closing ceremony. The event led to the creation of a series of events in 2021 called Global Transformation Festivals which will take place on a country basis rather than continental.
